Talk annoucenment: Deep Learning (Prof. Saitta)
Prof. Emeritus Lorenza Saitta will give a talk on Deep Learning on Thursday April 7h. The talk witll take place in Sala Seminari of the Computer Science Institute (room 192)
Abstract.
In this talk, the basic ideas of the deep learning approach are presented. The relationships between deep learning and the classical machine learning approach are outlined. After discussing the main algorithms adopted in existing systems, some considerations about performences obtained in pattern recognition applications will be presented.
